Meditations for Mortals Book Study

Kelley & Erin invite you, our audience, to our first (A)Theist Book Study!

Back in 2023, author Oliver Burkeman lent his energy, time, and brilliance to (A)Theist to discuss his bestselling book Four Thousand Weeks. During that interview he mentions an upcoming book he’s writing… he released Meditations for Mortals roughly a year later!

Meditations for Mortals: Four Weeks to Embrace Your Limitations and Make Time for What Counts was published in October 2024. This book offers a powerful new way to take action on what counts: a guiding philosophy of life called “imperfectionism.”

The book can be read in a number of different ways, but is divided into four week-long sections. The author calls it a “four-week retreat of the mind” if read that way.

So, (A)Theist is going to read it and react to it in that format… except since we publish every two weeks, we’re going to take eight weeks to go through it.

We invite our audience to read it along with us!
